Spansion Sets Up New IC Design Center in Suzhou, China

California-based Spansion recently announced that it is setting up a new IC design center in Suzhou, China, which will be ready for full operation by the middle of 2007. The center is projected to employ up to 50 engineers in the next three years, and will work on SoC solutions integrating the company's MirrorBit flash memory and logic.
